Webb5 nov. 2024 · For the rear take down spring, if you chose to use the threaded 4-40 set screw then yes you have to cut some coils down for it to work. The way I do it is to slide the rear takedown pin in place then install the detent and cut the spring little by little making sure that when the 4-40 screw is installed I can still open and close the takedown pin.
