For your trailer I would suggest the heavy setting then lower the gain down so that you feel them work without being too "grabby". cr4. WebMar 12, 2013 · The controller is factory installed unit. Here is the issue: 1) The turn signals and the tail lights work fine. 2) When you push the brake pedal the brake lights on the trailer come on. 3) But, the actual trailer brakes don't work.
