Roger, Kozuki Oden, Silvers Rayleigh, Shanks, and many more are already overpowered haki users without having any devil fruit powers. I mean, there are no devil fruit users in the famous red-haired pirate crew, but they do have a few haki users. WebAll this means Shanks is too strong, as a character meant to be in the endgame from the beginning. There is no way a Sea King could ever take his arm like that, unless he said he let it happen. Which he did. I feel like we're in the minority on this, but I do think Shanks lost his arm to teach Luffy something.
