WebSuggestion number 3 worked for me. Run command prompt as administrator, and enter. chkdsk.exe /f /r. then enter “Y” to run the disk check at restart. Process will take a while (I had to run mine overnight). Took care of the issue for me. The link has more suggestions you can try though. When I open a share for example on \\win2kserverVM\share from the host or a client and copy a big file the cpu usage goes up to 100% inside the win2kserverVM. During the copy you can do nothing in the VM. Just with 4 processors its a bit better.
